Designing spaces.
Building with AI.
I’m Jay, a Melbourne-based product creator with a background in architecture. I use AI to turn ideas into working software, from consumer apps to an FX benchmarking platform.

From an idea
to something you can use.
Independent products developed with AI across design, coding, testing and operation.
A benchmarking product for money-transfer operators, neobanks and fintechs, bringing published rates, reference rates and selected peer comparisons into one workflow.

Inside the project
The brief. Make it easier to understand where a published FX rate sits against a reference rate and selected competitors.
My contribution. I developed the product with AI across design, implementation, testing and operation. The work grew from ideas explored through SOLIEN.
What exists. A public product with rate-checking, benchmarking and a hosted Consensus Engine offer. The live site links to its methodology and product updates.
The current challenge. Building the product and establishing customer demand are separate tasks. My present focus is outreach and learning where the product is useful.
Three apps, taken through to release.

Inner Kingdom
Local-first devotional app built around a private Seed Catalogue for virtues, scripture, prayer and discernment.
Reflection app · Published View on the App Store ↗I use AI extensively for software design, coding, testing and operation. My coding knowledge is basic and has developed through this work; I depend on AI for implementation. I bring the product direction and design judgement, and work iteratively with the tools to develop each project.
The design foundation.
Selected earlier projects showing how I work with context, constraints and spatial relationships. Original architectural work, created before my transition into AI-assisted development.

Euroa Hut
& public space
A proposal exploring how a rail precinct could become a more connected public place, through reuse of the existing bridge and shed, new pedestrian and cycle routes, and a shared architectural language.
Context, decisions & original drawings
Context. Existing rail infrastructure and heritage structures divide and define the town. The proposal considers an alternative relationship between transport and public life.
Design decisions. Retain and adapt the bridge, introduce activities and movement beneath it, and carry the roof language of the existing shed into the gallery, station and bus stop.
What this demonstrates. Connecting a broad brief to specific spatial decisions, and communicating a consistent idea at different scales.

Bloom House
& environment
A residential design study connecting sculptural form with its landscape. Site orientation, environmental studies and spatial planning are brought together in a compact architectural proposal.
Process, planning & original drawings
The exploration. Consider how environmental forces and natural patterns can inform the building’s form and its relationship with the site.
The design work. The original boards bring together flow studies, site orientation, sun and wind information, a floor plan, a section and spatial visualisations.
What this demonstrates. Moving between abstract ideas, site constraints and a resolved visual proposal. The diagrams are presented as original design studies, rather than verified performance results.
Images reproduced from my earlier architecture and interior-design portfolio. These are design proposals, not photographs of completed buildings. The visuals have been retained without AI redesign.
An ongoing line of enquiry.
Alongside product work, I explore how AI can help develop ideas and how machine reasoning might make its assumptions and uncertainty more explicit.
SOLIEN
An independent experiment in generating, critiquing and developing concepts through iterative exploration. Used to improve ideas, it helped originate ideas that contributed to SOL and TRUPARI.
SOL
Experimental AI reasoning project exploring structured knowledge and verification. The public demo shows a bounded workflow for claims, provenance and reasoning paths; it does not claim validated AGI or general reliability.
Exploratory work. No publications, external evaluations or documented experimental results to date.
A designer’s perspective.
A hands-on approach.
I’m Kazim C. Can, also known as Jay. My background spans interior design, architecture and construction project work. After leaving SLC Bayside in 2022, I began focusing full-time on my own projects.
AI opened a route into software creation. Today, I work across products and research under CAN UNLIMITED, combining my design background with extensive practical use of AI tools.
